Steven M. Calcutt
is a member of both the South Carolina Bar and the Georgia Bar Associations. He is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in South Carolina and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association (SCTLA), a former multiple year Chairman of the Social Security Section of the SCTLA and a former board member of the SCTLA. He is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives (NOSSCR). He has served as Chairman of the Consumer Law Section of the South Carolina Bar Association. He has served as a Commissioner with the South Carolina Consumer Affairs Commission. Steve is a past member of the Association of South Carolina Claimants' Attorneys for Workers' Compensation.
Steve volunteers countless hours to the South Carolina Pro Bono Program and was a 2001 Pro Bono Service Award winner. He is a former Board Member of the Lighthouse Ministries in Florence. He is an active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, where he has served in numerous leadership capacities over the years. including Council Chairman and Chairman of the New Church Building Committee.
Steve resides with his wife Donna, and their three children, Sarah Kate, Aimee and Steven
G. Conrad Derrick
is a member of the South Carolina Bar and is licensed to practice in all state courts, the United States District Court for South Carolina and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has practiced in the Florence area since 1979, having worked initially with the South Carolina Attorney General's office. He is past President of the Florence County Bar and past 12th Judicial Circuit Chair of the S.C. Bar Resolution of Fee Disputes Board.
His community involvement has included work with the Keep Florence Beautiful Program, Florence County Heart Association and Wilson High School PTA (past president). He is an active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, where he has taught Sunday School and other education classes and served three terms on the Church Council, as well as chaired several committees.
Conrad is married to Sandy Jenkinson Derrick, a lifelong Florence County resident and public school teacher at Briggs Elementary School. They have two adult children, Rebecca and Curt.

That information will be relayed to the responsible attorney, who will also meet with you, if not that day, at a later appointment, to go over your file with you and tell you exactly what will take place in winning your case.

Additionally, we are relying on you to let us know of your doctor's visits and medical progress so that we may follow up with your doctor or workers' compensation carrier.

Becky will explain to you in depth what you can expect when filing your claim and its progress; request copies of necessary medical records and submit them to the SSA for consideration.
Zelyna Courtney - SSA Appeals & Claims In-Take and Legal Assistant to Mr. Calcutt
Zelyna will meet with you initially to set up your claim with our office and file your SSA appeal forms with the SSA and U.S. District Court level of your claim, if you are denied. She will explain to you in depth what you can expect when filing your appeal and its progress, request copies of necessary medical records, and submit them to the SSA for consideration.
Wanda Pegram - Receptionist and Secretary to Mr. Calcutt
Wanda will be your first contact in our office. She will be greeting you when you come into the office, receive and forward your telephone call, and make all appointments.
Laura Floyd - Legal Assistant to Mr. Derrick & Mr. Calcutt
Laura assists Mr. Derrick in every level of legal action concerning personal injury; auto accidents; workers' compensation; and long and short-term disability cases; among others. Laura will gladly take your calls to answer any questions or concerns regarding your case. Laura is also responsible for assisting Mr. Calcutt in preparing your SSA claim for his presentation at your hearing before the SSA Administrative Law Judge.
